When a dog is badly treated and has faced many challenges , giving up seems justified. For a dog, death is just around the corner. She starved to death alone. They found her in a place too weak to stand. But even if she gave up, they didn’t give up on her.
After rescuing the dog, they named her Lady. She was taken to the medical center for urgent care. She is skin and bone, beaten by her hard life. Her expression said so much. Her eyes showed her pain, she was just too tired to continue.
After her initial checkup, medical staff diagnosed her with a parasitic infection that severely affected her joints. With X-rays and extensive blood tests, they developed a treatment plan. She needs a lot of help, medication and good nutrition. But most importantly, she needs to feel safe and loved so she can fight for her life.
With time and love, Lady has made an amazing transformation. Paramedics went out of their way to keep her as healthy as possible.
Her mange was treated, and she was given intravenous antibiotics and a high-calorie diet. The lady begins to trust her new human friend, and herself.
Her fur has grown beautifully, and her whole demeanor has changed. Her steps even faltered! Her rescuers understood that it would take time for her to fully recover. She hesitates about some people. But she was learning more and more every day.
There was life in the woman’s eyes now. She believes in herself. She is like many other dogs that have been abandoned but rescued in time. Her story is as inspiring as her life. We are so grateful to animal rescuers for their continued efforts to give dogs like Lady a second chance.
