If there’s one thing we should all learn from animals, it’s the way they relate to each other. No matter the species, they can generate more emotion and empathy than we can imagine. This is why animals always surprise us when they encounter unlikely friendships.
When the family noticed that their puppy spent most of his time in the company of the cow, they thought it was no big deal. But what they don’t know is that the two actually have a very special connection. Unfortunately, they realized how strong the friendship between two such different animals was only when the cow were sold.
Rookie was adopted by the family when he was a puppy. Humans have always loved and cared for him, but a cow in the family is like a mother to this puppy. This sensitive puppy found all the comfort he needed in his adoptive mother, the cow who raised him and cared for him as if he were his own child. Naturally, Rookie was heartbroken when the cow were loaded onto the truck ready for sale.
The grieving dog could barely hold back the tears and wailed when he realized his best friend was gone. He even ignored the owner’s call and chased the truck for a while, and the man followed him and eventually brought him back. But the poor rookie was distraught. Immediately exhausted, he didn’t even drink food or water. He is destroyed!
The owner watched his dog fading and knew he had to do something, so he tried to comfort Rookie, but in vain. When he realizes that there is only one thing that can bring joy to a puppy – bringing back his best friend. So, the next morning, the man brought the cow back because he just wanted to make his beloved puppy happy!
