A man found a puppy in very poor condition in a car park. Covered with ticks and chemical burns, the puppy was severely anemic and could not stand. He also has ulcers on his left eye. It was a serious case and the puppy, who was about 3 months old, was named Summit.
Summit was treated at The Man That Rescues Dogs Veterinary Shelter. X-rays did not reveal any fractures or anything unusual. Due to frailty and anemia, he was unable to walk.
They were surprised when he got up and started walking on his own after two days in the coach’s wheelchair. With each passing day, he was able to go further. After treating his anemia, his blood levels are returning to normal.
Summit is loved by everyone. After just 28 days in the hospital, Summit is now up and running again. Summit, you are an inspiration to many others. Your kindness and love make the impossible possible.
The rescue dog team makes sure he is well fed, hydrated, and comfortable.
