Pastor Van Wyk is a Spanish Shepherd who lives in Cape Town, South Africa. He was a God-fearing man and his moto to serve nature led him to the train tracks one day.
Sitting on the rails, he saw a plastic bag. Seeing the bag, the pastor had a terrible feeling, so he got out of the car. The priest inspected the inside of the bag.
He was overwhelmed by what he saw. There was a puppy, tied with shoelaces, with a sad expression. His four legs and his mouth were tied together.
Therefore, he was unable to bark and pant. When the priest tried to touch the puppy, he frowned and barked. This puppy needed immediate medical attention.
The pastor decided to go to the animal welfare association Helderberg. A rescue team can help the puppy get all the medical attention he needs. They call him Trax and take care of him.
When he started to get better, he started to shine. He’s nervous but sure is a loving dog who just needs the right family.
After a few weeks of treatment, Trax’s dog quickly found a home! The rescue team has been in touch with Trax and his new family. They often send updates and photos showing them his happy life.
He is now happily living in his new family of which he only knows love – and his cruel life before was like a nightmare.
