During the Christmas weekend of 2017, a woman named Pia was walking down the streets of Buenos Aires, Argentina, when she found a flimsy skeleton dog, abandoned and covered in sores, obediently awaiting death . Pia knew right away that she had to help him.
The dog was so weak that he can’t seem to make it through the night. Pia picked up the helpless dog and rushed it to the vet with tears streaming down her cheeks. But at this time, the spirit of the dog has been abandoned. He didn’t respond to any treatment, staring listlessly with dull eyes.
But Pia wasn’t the one to give up. For the next 48 hours, she stayed by the dog’s side, coaxing him to eat and drink, and doing her best to stay alive. Pia’s desperate prayers worked, and a miracle happened after Christmas, the dog regained his will to live!
Pia decides to fire up his survival instinct by calling him Hercules. After many sleepless and miserable nights, Hercules surprises Pia when he stands alone.
Pia decides to never part with Hercules. Today, Hercules seems unrecognizable as his fur grows back and he is the happiest dog every day with mom Pia.
