Hope For Pows recieved a call about a dog living on a vacant property. JoAnn Wiltz and Alex Babcook headed out.
The dog took refuge under a shed. They decided to come back in the morning when there was daylight.
the following morning Elizabeth Hernandez met with Hope For Pows team on the property. She distracted the dog while Alex and JoAnn snuck around the other side.
Alex was blocking the entrance to her crawlspace. Elizabeth block the dog in a smalle corner and Alex was on the other side with another snare pole. she gived her some food and the dog was still nervous to eat.
After a while the dog started to calm so Elizabeth tried to put the snare pole in her neck. finally JoAnn from the other side secured the dog with a gentle snare.
The neighbors told Elizabeth that the dog had been there for few weeks. No one Knows how she got onto the property.
They decided to name her Mimi, they give her a worm bubble bath. Mimi no longer has to live alone under a shed. She now enjoys playing with her bes friend Electra.
Nw Mimi can got to her foster home and wait for her forever family. If you’d like to adopt Mimi, Please visit www.LAAnimalRescue.org.
