Whether a dog lives on the streets or in a home, we are their only source of medical care. They are incapable of self-care.
It’s heartbreaking to think that a dog has to suffer because he or she has been neglected or is homeless.
This dog’s tumor had grown so large that it had engulfed his entire face when he was finally rescued. It wasn’t about how you looked.
He struggled to breathe as the tumor invaded vital organs. His mucous membranes were also out of control, and his eyes and nose were constantly leaking. What a sad little thing!
“We recognize that this image is distressing, but we assure you that this story has a happy ending.”
Rescuers in the area heard about the sick dog and tracked him down by the grace of God. They learned he was the property of someone who couldn’t afford veterinary care.
But now he would be treated, and his life would be saved! Vittorino was his name.
The tumor could not be operated on due to its location. His only option was to use radiation. The treatments began to work after some time and effort, as well as a great deal of diligence and care.
The dog’s gratitude astounded the rescuers. The sweet dog wagged his tail for the first time. Yes, it’s something so simple. These tail wags, on the other hand, said a lot!
The radiation treatments went on as planned, and it was as if magic happened! Vittorino’s foster mother grew quite attached to him during his treatments, which is understandable.
He’s right at home now that he’s recovered. Vittorino’s transformation has astounded us. Anything is possible with love and faith! ALL animals are entitled to a happy and healthy life!
