Mia the Chihuahua endured the worst days of her life after being abused by an extremely neglectful and cruel owner.
Mia’s owner brought her to the veterinarians in a critical condition, according to the veterinarians.
Her owner refused to treat the dying and emaciated pooch despite her being sick for weeks due to an infected uterus.
When the vets noticed Mia’s declining health, they performed an emergency surgery, knowing full well that the owner would not pay for it. When Mia’s blood transfusion was due, however, the owner shamelessly snuck the unconscious dog out of the hospital.
The vets were so disgusted by the entire situation that they called animal services right away. After three weeks of fighting, it was discovered that Mia’s cruel owner was barely feeding her and was simply waiting for her to die.
Officers rescued Mia, who was lethargic, pale, and dehydrated, and rushed her to San Jose Shelter, hoping she would survive. Mia was in desperate need of prayers.
We can see the vets and nurses’ unwavering commitment in this video, as they leave no stone unturned in their efforts to bring Mia back from the brink of death. It’s difficult not to cry as we watch a 3-pound Mia gain weight after being hand-fed for weeks.

Mia’s ex-owner is the subject of an investigation and criminal charges, and we hope that the owner faces the legal consequences for torturing Mia.
