A stray puppy was discovered in desperate need of assistance. While fighting mange and tick bite fever, the poor girl was dehydrated and parasite-ridden.
Thankfully, she was rescued through an outreach program and taken in by Sidewalk Specials, where she received the care she so desperately needed.
She needed a miracle because she was the last puppy alive in her litter and didn’t want to die like the others. For the first time in her life, the dog was taken to the hospital for treatment, where she was surrounded by love and people who cared. And it worked like a charm!
Twiglet now lives in an amazing forever home with a loving mom and dad who are teaching her how to be a pet! The dog is having a great time and is grateful that she will never be alone in the world again.
