A dog, now named Tango, suffered awful abuse when kids tied fireworks to his back and set them off.
His poor little body was shredded by the explosion, and when he arrived at the hospital, he was in shock and could barely open his eyes.
Thankfully, he was now in the capable hands of Viktor Larkhill, his rescuers, and their veterinarians.
He had emergency surgery to repair his wounds and spent months recovering in the hospital. He took a long time to recover, and he spent for weeks, but he never gave up.
Despite the horrors he had witnessed, all he desired was love.
Tango’s new forever family showers him with unconditional love today. He gets to run around and play with his new doggy siblings and is completely spoiled.
He is finally living his life as it should be lived, and he is no longer defined by his tragic past.
Larkhill maintains contact with his new family and recently received a heartfelt update from them. Tango has been with them for several years and is doing fantastic!
