Did you know about the Southeast Asian dog meat trade and restaurants in Cambodia that serve dog meat? As a result, many meat farms have become essentially slaughterhouses. It’s both disgusting and upsetting. Thankfully, there are people on a mission to save dogs who are on their way to this horrible fate.
One in particular is Michael Chour, the founder of The Sound of Animals, a group that rescues dogs from the Southeast Asian meat trade. He has become an outspoken opponent of dog consumption and has had some success in rescuing dogs destined for slaughter.
This dog has been sold into a dog slaughterhouse, he was on the verge of death. Butchers stuffed him in a bag, he bathes in blood and mud. The cruels tied him in a bag like a commodity, they do not even understand the horror of their acts.
The poor dog didn’t understand why, from a warm home he could have arrived this hell… Then Michael Chour appeared and rescued him. Immeduiately, he bought the dog and took him to Angkor Veterinary Clinic.
He took the dog to an Animal Shelter and took care of him.
The dog was moved to a temporary shelter in O Smach, Cambodia, where he would have his health assessed before being moved to a large dog shelter run by The Sound of Animals in Ban Kruat District, Thailand.
We are so grateful for Chour, his vision, and all the hard work he puts into saving dogs. Thank you, Chour, for your passion and compassion. Your acts of kindness to dogs are extraordinary.
This is so sad and horrible GOD Bless the gentleman who saved his life! 😥💟💟
