 Stories about homeless and later rescued dogs abound on the internet, but only a few become viral sensations. This is the case of a puppy who was found with a sign around his neck. This, as seen in the various photos shared on Facebook, contained a brief but shocking message that elicited a wide range of reactions on social media.

The dog was found hungry, sad, and afraid, as seen in the images below, when he was approached by volunteers from The Rescue Journey, a portal dedicated to documenting the various animal rescues they carry out.

Every day, animal rights organizations rescue abandoned dogs in cities all over the world. They rarely find puppies with messages from their previous owners. ‘I need a home,’ says the message in this case.

According to them, a woman passing by the area contacted them to warn them of the presence of the dog. It didn’t take long for the rescuers to find the puppy who would become the star of an emotional Facebook viral video.

This is how the young people decide to approach the animal patiently while it stands still on a street; however, he was struck by the fact that a sheet of paper hung from the dog’s neck with a short but heartbreaking message.

It could be read, “I need a home.” The message shocked the volunteers, who couldn’t understand how someone could get rid of such a young dog; however, their spirits were lifted when they saw the puppy’s reaction to receiving what were undoubtedly his first caresses in quite some time.

And it is that the animal changed the expression on its face and began to wag its tail while being conceited by the young people. The scene moved thousands of Internet users on Facebook .

All of this culminates in the dog being taken to a safer location, where he will wait until he finds a new family willing to provide him with as much love as he requires.
