Touching stories about pets are always a pleasure to read. One was rescued, another came and stayed, and it’s always fascinating to hear their stories. Another such amazing situation happened with a dog named Piglet.
He was born from a cross between a Dachshund and a Chihuahua, which had a spotted color. Their baby was born in an unusual pink color but was blind and deaf.
Piglet is loved by his family, and his flaws have never prevented him from living a full life. He communicates easily with other dogs, has a great mission, and simply enjoys life.
Piglet’s parents caused his deafness and blindness. They both possessed this gene.
As is often the case, animal rights activists rescued the baby from an unfavorable life. He weighed only 680 grams at the time and was already overcoming the initial challenges.
After two months together, the owners, who were initially thought to be temporary, couldn’t give it away and kept it for themselves.
Piglet took a long time to adjust to his new family. He now enjoys hugging and playing with other dogs.
His owner is a veterinarian, and he frequently visits her office. They are overjoyed to see him! He particularly loves going to the bank and pet stores. This comes as no surprise. However, Piglet has recently been assigned a real mission.
Because of his positive outlook on life, a blind puppy with pink fur has become a true dog missionary.
Piglet’s story was the start of a series of lessons in one of the schools, in which they told the story of the dog and his incredible desire for life.
They tell the children that only a positive attitude helped Piglet overcome life’s difficulties. Using the dog as an example, children are taught empathy and the important skill of accepting others as they are.
