Alfonse Attard, an Australian fisherman, went out one day with Jack, his Jack Russell, for a trip in the sea. When they were in the boat, the water began to leak, causing the boat to capsize and throw Attard and his dog into the sea.
Fortunately, Trever Borg and his father Laurie, two other fishermen, noticed Attard and decided to assist him. Fortunately, they were able to bring him to shore, but he then panickily told them about his dog, who has been his pet for almost 18 years.
As a result, volunteers from Altona Life Saving and Water Police were sent back out into the water to look for Jack. One volunteer turned the boat over and discovered the dog inside, allowing him to rescue him after about an hour.
The dog was then taken to see his elderly owner, which was a touching reunion. View the video below.
